This isn’t going to be a huge educational post where I talk about the mysteries of food photography. All I want to do here is let you know a little secret. One of the tricks to learning to be a good food photographer is to look at and analyze good and bad food photos. One great place I’ve found to do that is on Tumblr. If you’re not familiar with it, Tumblr is a web site where people post images, follow other bloggers. It’s basically a blogging site. There are some really good photographers and some really bad bloggers on Tumblr, but it’s an interesting place to hang out. I suggest that you check out out.
